What Customers Say About Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction:

It has so many hidden things to find and really challenges the brain to increase critical and spacial problem solving. I am now using the option of replaying the game with higher winnings and a little harder play, also your tools and armour upgrade the second time around. There are different skins if your kids want to be a different character from each other. Some tools make it much easier to destroy the aggressor, which is good for younger ones, but if you want to use more skill than ease, just use tools that it make it more difficult to defeat your opponent. You feel like you are actually in the scenes. My first video game was Little Big Planet.

You visit so many planets in the solar systems and interact with such inventive creatures, and with a killer story line. It is good for all ages. Didn't think any other game would measure up to the fun and ingenius creativeness, but Ratchet and Clank Future Tools of Destruction equals, and even betters the experience. The tools are many, many, and they get upgraded by purchases with "bolts" or by winning over your opponents. I just love this game and can't wait for the next version coming out soon. Visually best on a big screen tv.

There is no delay and hesitation in the picture (like at times with Little Big Planet) which blows me away as this is a very detailed, sophisticated, video project.

i think its much more designed for children, but if your bored and older its a not so bad game to play. some parts get very repetitive but overall its a decent game. this game is pretty fun i would say. its more a game i play when im really bored, but it gives me something to do.

The game maker didn't fix it nor tell anyone about it.It amazing what greed will make companies do. Amazing how many people have this problem due to a glich in the game and2. I have the same problem of "no space" to install. Having searched the internet it is:1.

The game is also designed in a way that you can focus on only a few choice weapons if you want. You can stick with your favorite handful of weapons throughout the game. This was my first time playing a Ratchet and Clank game. There doesn't seem to be any one right way to take down an enemy. Oh, yeah you can upgrade them all too. I enjoyed it very much. My favorite part about it is the weapons that you get to use.

The title of each skill point is a cryptic clue on how to get the skill point. If you like the sense of achievement you get from figuring out what the clue means and getting the points, then this will help you get more mileage out of the game. Not that the game is really short, because it has a decent length. However, it should be noted that after you beat it the first time, you can go back to the beginning with all your weapons and upgrades and playthrough it again at a higher difficulty. As far as the actual gameplay goes, it is a platformer. However, I have always played these games as a way to have fun and not for a challenge. Every weapon has 5 levels. I just wish there was a little more to do. You will spend plenty of time jumping/gliding/flying from one piece of safe ground to another, fight some enemies, and repeat.

As a gun levels up it's power increases and it's appearance changes. dance for as long as the ball is active. And as Ratchet is the last of the species, he must now fight Tachyon's army while traveling to many exotic destinations throughout the galaxy to discover what made Tachyon hate the Lambaxes so much and what happened to all of them. The graphics in this game are incredible. There are some puzzles here and there to solve, but none are very difficult, or at least not for someone over the age of 12. You use this stuff at weapons shop, where each weapon has this kind of "branching honey comb" of icons. This is a big help for dealing with boses, enemies that have really powerful attacks, or if you find yourself in a room surrounded by bad guys with nowhere to run. However, one possible downside to this vast arsenal of weapons and cool devices is that it can make the game a bit too easy for some.

Additionally, there is all kinds of activity going on in the background of these levels that adds to the emersion of making you feel like you really are in a living, breathing place inhabited by life other than your own. What's even more amazing is the technical aspect of all this graphical greatness. The other way involves an item that is new to the series called Raritanium. You spend Raritanium to unlock a new icon that must be attached to at least one other already unlocked icon. It's just that the game was so much fun that I wish it lasted longer.Unless you are an older gamer and think that playing this game hurts your status, masculinity, whatever, than I think you will get some enjoyment out of this game. It's a purple crystal that you get from big enemies and boses.

You start off with two, but you can purchase more from the weapons shop with bolts you get from enemies after beating them as the game's form of money. And to make these weapons even better is a great upgrading system. Once again, we get to follow Ratchet and Clank on another wacky adventure through the cosmos. There is also a weapon that shoots out tornados, and you tilt the controller to move the tornado around. The plot is pretty interesting, the writing is funny as long as you like slap-stick kind of humor, and the acting is incredible. HOWEVER, they are very potent and useful. Every character is cast perfectly and the actors did great, a rarity in video games.

When you reach level 5, the weapon will also gain a new ability. There is also another way to upgrade weapons. This time Ratchet is being pursued by Tachyon, a little guy with a big attitude who wants to rid the universe of the Lambax race. You will also have to hack computers by using the controller to tilt a circuit board and make a metal ball roll to a gap in between wires to complete an electric circuit, alot like those old little ball maze games that I played as a kid way back when video games weren't the only thing kids played. Even on huge levels the game streams data off the disk as you go so you never have to deal with a loading screen. One of the main draws to any R&C game are the weapons, and there are plenty of them and they are very diverse. As you use a weapon, it gains "experience". Younger players may be challenged a bit by some of them.Another great thing about this game is that it uses the motion controls of the controller in a way that is fun. It also has music that fits the situations it's used in perfectly and nice sound effects. The one downside this game has is that there really isn't much to go and do again once you have beaten it. The clarity and detail are awe-inspiring.

It also has these things called Skill Points. They continue dancing even if you are attacking them. As long as you know to use small, slow movements instead of big, fast movements this will be fun. If you aren't into that, then this won't do anything for you.All in all, it's a great game.

You can play again on a higher difficulty and there are hidden things to find in levels that unlock new costumes for your character, but that is not much. It is basically a disco ball that makes all nearby enemies (and bosses.). And that's not to mention that you never have to deal with loading screens. These are items you buy at Device Vendors that do not level up and you can only carry a few of each. Bascially, they are tasks for you to do in the game that will reward you with points that unlock things like the "big head mode" where you can make people's heads really big.

I never experienced a drop in the frame-rate or any slowdown from having too much action on the screen. At points you use a pair of wings to fly around levels, tilting the controller up down, left and right to steer. Mine (and I think most people's) favorite is the Groovatron. As the experience increases, it will level up. The paths lead to different benefits for the weapon, so you pick a path based on how you want to use that particular weapon. In addition to weapons are Devices.
